Dave Rishi vs Malik Melo + Seven other matches

The Kits League returns Saturday, October 10, with tournament points on the line throughout the night — but the main event is about something bigger. Malik Melo is the all-time wins leader in Kitsilano, and Dave Rishi has made it clear he’s coming for his crown. Now Rishi gets the chance to back it up, one-on-one with the man who has won more matches in Kits than anyone else.

It’s a standalone main event for bragging rights, reputation, and the right to call yourself the man to beat in Kitsilano. With only 200 people in the room, get your tickets and be there to see if Rishi can knock Malik off his throne.

A BLOCK — Mason Crowley vs. “The Main Attraction” Shawn Murphy
Heavy metal pitfighter Mason Crowley brings raw power to the A Block, but “The Main Attraction” Shawn Murphy didn’t come to the Kits League to play a supporting role. With two points at stake, something has to give when these two collide.

A BLOCK — “Real Talk” Rashad Tyson vs. “Top Speed” Tommy Chan
Friends become opponents when “Real Talk” Rashad Tyson meets “Top Speed” Tommy Chan in A Block competition. They know each other well, but for one night friendship takes a back seat to two valuable Kits League points.

B BLOCK — “The Kimono Dragon” Josh Cadwell vs. “Dirty” Eddy Ross
“The Kimono Dragon” Josh Cadwell goes head-to-head with “Dirty” Eddy Ross with two B Block points on the line. Cadwell will have to stay one step ahead of a man who has never been particularly concerned with winning pretty.

B BLOCK — Artemis Spencer vs. Dante Santos
Dante Santos impressed in his Kits League debut, and now the rookie draws a true local legend in Artemis Spencer. Two B Block points are up for grabs, and a win over Spencer would immediately put Santos on the map.

SPECIAL ATTRACTION — Casey Ferreira vs. T.Y. Jackson
Casey Ferreira returns to Kitsilano against T.Y. Jackson — an opponent who can match him in the air. Expect the pace to be fast, the risks to be high, and both men to spend plenty of time above the canvas.

Jacky Lee vs. Zeb St. One
Zeb St. One makes his BOOM! debut against Jacky Lee, arriving with a seemingly endless arsenal of manoeuvres and a knack for slipping out of trouble. Jacky will have to figure him out on the fly before Zeb finds another way to escape.

THE DEBUT OF ST. FLORIAN
A new force arrives in Kitsilano. The barbarian St. Florian makes his BOOM! debut — and you’ll want to be there for your first look at one of the newest faces to step into a BOOM! ring.

MAIN EVENT — Malik Melo vs. Dave Rishi
Malik Melo is the all-time wins leader in Kitsilano — and Dave Rishi has made it known that he’s ready to take his crown. This isn’t about tournament points; Rishi is coming directly for Malik’s place at the top, and now he gets the chance to prove he can knock the King of Kits off his throne.
